WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe there is one true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in 3 forms: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:1 KJV, 1st John 5:7 KJV and John 1:1 KJV)

We believe in God the Father and in His sovereignty, that He is all powerful, all knowing, loving and good. He is the righteous and ultimate judge over sin and mankind (Mark 10:27 KJV, Psalm 82:8 KJV, john 3:16 KJV, Jer 32:17 KJV)

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life. He was crucified on the cross and raised again on the third day as a pure and spotless sacrifice to be the savior of man. (John 1:34 KJV, 2 Cor 5:21 KJV, Isaiah 7:14 KJV, 2 Cor 13:4 KJV)

We believe in the existence of heaven and hell, a place of eternal life for the saved and eternal damnation for the unsaved (1 John 5:12 KJV, John 5:24 KJV)

We believe that Jesus paid for salvation by His death, and that we are saved only by grace, through faith in His finished work on the cross, and cannot be earned by our own efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV, Acts 4:12 KJV)

We believe the Bible is the infallible revelation of God’s will for mankind. It is precise, authoritative and relevant to our everyday lives (2 Tim 3:16-17 KJV, Psalms 100:5 KJV)

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, that God the Father sent His Spirit to live in each believer, to guide and enable us to live a spirit-filled and holy life – which is a process that begins at salvation and continues throughout the life of the believer (John 14:26 KJV, John 16:13 KJV)

We believe in the present day operation of the Holy Spirit, through signs, wonders, healings, prophetic guidance, and by spiritual gifts at work through the believer (1 Cor 12:7-11 KJV, John 14:12 KJV)

We believe in the symbolic act of water baptism, that it is a public declaration of a believer’s commitment to live a life in accordance to God’s word. (Acts 2:38 KJV, Matt 3:13-17 KJV)

We believe in The Great Commission that God gave to the church, that we have a responsibility as believers, to spread the gospel of Jesus to the lost, and to raise disciples. (Matt 28:18-20 KJV, Eph 4:11-13 KJV)
